Now that we finally got to see how the Audi R8 e-tron played into Iron Man 3, our favorite automaker is once again giving us yet another reason to head back to the theater. Because in case you haven't heard, we're just one week away from Star Trek Into Darkness. And while we can't speak for the masses, we here at Audi of Downtown L.A. are just giddy as can be.

Ever since the news concerning the Audi R8 e-tron and Iron Man 3, we here at Audi of Downtown L.A. haven't been able to get supercars off the brain. Not that we think any less of our new and used cars, that would just be crazy, but with the recent announcement of the Audi Scorpion hypercar, one can hardly blame us for daydreaming.

Folks, there's something to be said for taking two steps forward by taking one step back. We here at Audi of Downtown L.A. are all for not fixing things when they aren't broken, but it never hurts to borrow from past successes when planning for the future. Such is the thinking behind all of the new and used cars in our showroom, and the Audi TT is no exception.

It's really too bad that we here at Audi of Downtown L.A. don't get to write about movies more on this here blog, especially when you consider how much we talk about them around the water cooler. Take it from us, folks, if we weren't so head-over-heels for the new and used cars at our dealership, taking up a career in film criticism would make a fine Plan B for some of us here.

In case you missed it, folks, the 2013 Geneva Motor Show finally kicked off last week, and we here at Audi of Downtown L.A. couldn't be more excited about it. Don't get us wrong, it's not like we're growing tired of the new and used cars at our dealership, that'd just be crazy. But if past years have been any indication, Audi has made a habit of pulling out all the stops whenever they show up to Switzerland. And if this past week has been any indication, 2013 is going to be a year…

Any way you cut it, five million of anything is a pretty big deal. Be it five million Facebook friends or (our personal fantasy) five million new and used car sales, if you ever have the distinct honor of reaching a milestone that rivals the entire population of Turkmenistan, it's high time you broke out the bubbly. As for us here at Audi of Downtown L.A., we're still working on it, but until we make that aforementioned fantasy a reality, we'll just keep on living vicariously through our favorite automaker.

When folks come to see our fine line of new and used cars here at Audi of Downtown L.A., most of them aren't expecting "the headlight spiel." We're used to it by now, and since headlights aren't exactly at the top of too many "must have" lists we come across, we can't help but understand. But while every car out there comes with headlights these days (or at least we hope they do), the reason we always give "the headlight spiel" is because Audi's signature LED headlights are one-of-a-kind.

It isn't too often that we here at Audi of Downtown L.A. find ourselves thinking about our high school years, but from what we remember, it was a pretty interesting time. People were going steady, one's popularity was dependent on the new or used car they drove, and nothing was more terrifying than having to ask a girl to prom. For some, it was their glory days, for others, it was a time best forgotten. But if we could go back with what we know now, you can bet the farm that we would.

As much as we here at Audi of Downtown L.A. get a kick out of playing the lotto every once in a while, the truth of the matter is that we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if we actually won. Sure, an Audi S8 or two would be pretty nice, and we wouldn't say no to a hot tub in the backyard. But for all that we can daydream, some financial figures are just tough to wrap one's head around.
